Dear Vendor and/or Community Group,
Pugwash HarbourFest is set to go July 24-26th, 2020. Now in its 15th year, we will once again offer our favourite events along with a few new activities that are bound to draw crowds. Friday will be our Homecoming portion of the festival, taking place at the Northumberland Community Curling Club. Saturday will start early with our Salt Dash Run, followed by activities and entertainment on Water Street and in the harbour. We will have a beer tent and musical entertainment until approximately 11 pm.
We would like to invite you to set up a food, artisan, amusement, game or information (non-profit) booth on Saturday July 25th at this year’s festival.
Please fill out the attached Indemnity Liability Waiver and provide a Certificate of Insurance and either bring those with you on the day or post them to us.
Access to additional electricity and water is extremely limited. If you need water or power, please provide your own or we can help you make arrangements with local property owners, who may charge you a fee. This will be on a first come (fully registered) first served basis. Only vendors who have paid their fees in full will be considered fully registered.
All booths must be set up by 9 am. Vendor booths must be set up on the sidewalk. Vendors must provide their own tables, chairs, garbage receptacles, tent/gazebo, display boards and protection from the weather. These can be dropped off at the booth location, but all vehicles must be moved off Water Street by 9 am.
Washroom facilities will be at the Village Hall and porta-potties throughout the village. O’Brien’s PharmaChoice, Inside Scoop Dairy Bar, and Monty's Used Clothing are the only local businesses open on Water Street - please do not block their doorways. All booths should be open from at least 9 am to 5 pm. Admission to all areas of the festival is FREE. There will be overnight security provided. However, any vendors leaving booths in place overnight remain responsible for the security of their belongings. Please complete your registration forms and send fees by June 30, 2019. Once the forms and fees are received we will confirm via email only. Issuers of NSF cheques will incur a $25 fee.
